Family Leadership & Legacy
Our company is led by Mateo and Bee Littlebird. Mateo oversees design and project execution while Bee manages operations, scheduling, and client coordination. Together we built Atlantic Outdoor Lighting with a simple purpose: to create a family legacy grounded in trust, quality workmanship, and an appreciation for thoughtful design.

Our Approach to Lighting Design
We believe lighting should never be an afterthought. Every property already tells a story through its architecture and landscaping. Our design process begins by identifying the key architectural features of a home or building and establishing a visual anchor point for the viewer. From there we introduce balanced layers of light that reveal subtle details, mature landscaping, and outdoor living spaces. The goal is not to make a property brighter, but to make it feel complete at night. When done correctly, a home after sunset can feel as intentional and refined as any work of art.
Working Alongside Builders & Industry Partners
As members of the Volusia Building Industry Association, we collaborate with builders, pool companies, and local businesses to integrate lighting into outdoor living environments the right way. Planning lighting during or alongside construction allows for cleaner installations, longer lasting systems, and a finished look that feels natural to the property rather than added later.
Professional Grade Materials & Long Term Reliability
We also believe a well built home deserves well built materials. There is little value in installing inexpensive fixtures on a significant investment. Many homeowners’ greatest frustration after construction comes from premature failure of low quality products. For that reason, we carefully select professional grade manufacturers with proven reliability and strong reputations. Most of the systems we install carry long term or lifetime warranties, and we stand behind them with ongoing service and support.
